From Wednesday 24 to Sunday 28 June 2026, The Suburban Brew: Goodwood is hosting Love Local Beer Week - five days where every tap in the venue is handed over to South Australia's best independent breweries. Fifteen SA breweries. One flat pint price across every single tap. Free entry, no tickets, just walk in.

It's the best lineup of local independent beer Adelaide has seen under one roof.

What is Love Local Beer Week?

Love Local Beer Week is a tap takeover event created and powered by The Suburban Brew. For five days straight, fifteen of South Australia's independent craft breweries take over every tap at the Goodwood Taproom, pouring their beers side by side at one flat price - no matter what's on tap.

It's built around one idea: the best way to support local SA breweries is to put them all in the same room and let people drink them. No fanfare, no tickets, no expensive entry. Just great local beer, poured properly, all week.

This is the inaugural year. The plan is to grow it into a travelling annual event that rotates through SA taprooms each year - but it starts here, at Goodwood, in June 2026.

Fifteen of SA's finest independent breweries are on tap across the week. This is the complete line-up:

From the Adelaide Hills to the Barossa Valley to the southern suburbs — every corner of SA's independent brewing scene is represented. If you've wanted to try Woolshed, Uraidla or Western Ridge without driving out of town, this is your chance.

One pint price across every tap

Every beer on tap during Love Local Beer Week costs the same. One flat price, all fifteen breweries, all week.

That means a Swell pale costs the same as a Lady Burra sour, a Prancing Pony lager the same as a Shapeshifter IPA. No playing favourites. No hesitation about picking an expensive or unfamiliar style. It's the best possible setup for working through beers you've never tried before.

What else is on during the week

Beyond the fifteen taps, Love Local Beer Week includes live music through the venue across the week, a trivia night where teams compete for the bar, and hands-on brewing education sessions run by the brewers themselves. If you've ever wanted to actually understand what you're drinking - what makes a sour sour, or why a Barossa pale tastes different to an inner-city one - these sessions are worth showing up for.

Why it matters for SA craft beer

South Australia has more quality independent breweries per capita than most people realise. The problem is they're spread across the state - Aldinga, the Barossa, the Hills, the inner suburbs - and most Adelaide drinkers only ever make it to one or two of them regularly.

Love Local Beer Week fixes that for one week a year. Fifteen breweries, one room, one price. It's the easiest way to understand what SA's independent brewing scene actually looks like in 2026.
