Picture this: a taproom nestled amidst the hustle of a busy main road in Adelaide's inner south, its inviting warmth beckoning you to step inside and unwind. Here, the clinking of glasses mingles with the hum of conversation, as people from all walks of life — locals from Goodwood, Clarence Park, Millswood, Unley and beyond — come together, enjoy each other's company and, of course, the beer.

That's certainly what we pictured when we opened our Goodwood Road Taproom in 2020, and it has not disappointed. By providing a gathering place for locals to come together, share experiences and form friendships, we've worked to enrich the inner south community and serve as a welcoming spot for anyone who finds themselves on Goodwood Road looking for somewhere worth stopping.

In early 2024 we welcomed Reggie's Detroit Pizzas to the front of the venue — crispy, square-cut Detroit-style pizza for dine-in or takeaway, open during trading hours. Beer and pizza on Goodwood Road. It works.

The Suburban Brew has always been about creating a space where everyone is welcome, and where the simple act of enjoying a pint becomes the start of something. Every Wednesday at 6pm we run Survey Says — a gameshow-style trivia night that turns a mid-week evening into something worth leaving the house for.
