Formula 1 and the FIA moved the 2026 Azerbaijan Grand Prix from Sunday 27 September to Saturday 26, at the request of the Azerbaijan promoter and government stakeholders, to avoid clashing with the country's Remembrance Day. It pushes the entire race weekend forward a day, practice Thursday and Friday, qualifying Friday, race Saturday.
