Things to do in Adelaide this October: events at The Suburban Brew Glynde

October is packed at Glynde. Oktoberfest, a classic car day, two Unplugged sessions, Bands On Tap and Halloween drag bingo to close it out, with something on most weekends in between. Here's the lot, in order.

Saturday 3rd October: Unplugged At The Brew w/ Woodfolk

2pm to 5pm, $6 core range schooners. Woodfolk open the month with an acoustic set in the taproom. Bookings advised.

Sunday 4th October: Oktoberfest

The Klemzig Oompah Band play from 2pm to 5pm, and there's a limited edition German-style sausage pizza on for the day. Drink, music, dance, that's the plan. Clocks go forward that morning, so the arvo stays light a bit longer. Bookings advised, this one will be busy.

Wednesday 7th October: Open Mic Night

5pm to 8pm, first Wednesday of every month. Musicians, poets and comedians all welcome, and every performer gets their first drink free.

Saturday 10th October: Vinyl, Strings & Pints Afternoon

12pm to 6pm. Fantastic Wax spin vinyl from 1pm to 3pm, then Cliff Koma plays live from 3pm to 6pm. Bookings advised.

Sunday 11th October: Classic Car Day w/ Adelaide Cruising Classics

12pm to 5pm, free entry. Adelaide Cruising Classics bring the cars, DJ Emily plays from 12pm and The Silverados take over from 1pm. Sneaky Pickle are on the food truck that day too, so lunch is sorted.

Wednesday 14th October: Print & Sip w/ Sienna Blok

Print your pet. Sienna Blok runs a printmaking workshop at the taproom, drink in hand. It's back again on the 28th if you can't make this one.

Saturday 17th October: Last Orders w/ Ebony + Dylan

5pm to 7pm. Ebony + Dylan play an early evening set before Bands On Tap takes over. Bookings advised.

Saturday 17th October: Bands On Tap 15 w/ Penny and the Jets & Aidan Nixon-Burns Quartet

7pm to 10pm, free entry. Classic rock and jazz, with Penny and the Jets headlining and the Aidan Nixon-Burns Quartet in support. Bookings advised.

Sunday 18th October: Sunday Sound Clash w/ DJ Krystal

3pm to 7pm, free entry. DJ Krystal on the decks for a long Sunday arvo.

Saturday 24th October: Unplugged At The Brew w/ Matt Brown

2pm to 5pm, free entry, $6 schooners of Lager and Sunday Session Ale. Just Matt and a guitar. Bookings advised.

Saturday 24th October: Silver Threads, The Music of Linda Ronstadt

7pm to 10pm. A night of Linda Ronstadt songs from Silver Threads. This one's ticketed, so grab yours early.

Sunday 25th October: Sunday Session Jazz w/ Mantis Shrimp Co. Trio

2pm to 5pm, free entry. Adelaide jazz crew Mantis Shrimp bring three hours of easy Sunday jazz. Le Souk are on the food truck if you get hungry. Bookings advised.

Wednesday 28th October: Print & Sip w/ Sienna Blok

Round two of the pet printmaking workshop with Sienna Blok.

Saturday 31st October: Halloween Drag Bingo

7pm to 9pm, $20 including your first drink. Two hours of drag, bingo and ten prizes up for grabs. Sanduba BBQ are on the food truck, so get dinner in before the first call.
