We brew easy approachable beers that you’ll want to try again and again. We aim to do this by taking traditional beer styles and adding our touch of Suburban flair to them, be it by brewing with fruit straight from the neighbours yard or collaborating with another local producer. Keeping it simple, local and tasty – the way life in suburbs should be.
We’re always working on new ideas for beers, and if you have any requests or are a local producer keen to work with us, then drop us a line at tellmemore@thesuburbanbrew.com.au

No.2 – where it all started. Brewing in the shed, sharing beers with mates. An easy, approachable pale ale with notes of zesty orange and grapefruit.
Goes well with: Hand made wood fired Pizzas, Gourmet hamburgers and the good old backyard Aussie BBQ

“Cloudy Gold with a hoppy nose, this is an
undemanding beer that offers plenty of subtlety"
— Froth Magazine, Summer Edition
Malt: Maris Otter, Crystal, Choc
Hops: Challenger, EKG
Yeast: ESB
A pokey flat in the middle of the action. Peace amongst chaos, a place to recharge and go again. Strong malty backbone with fruity notes amongst the bitterness, a dangerously drinkable ESB.
Goes well with: Fried Chicken, Cold cut meats & cheeses and Pancakes with smoked bacon and maple syrup
Malt: Maris Otter, Crystal, Choc, Victory
Hops: Simcoe, Amarillo, Chinook
Yeast: American Ale
The Merger at 3/92. Where two became one. This beer does the same; looks a Porter, but the nose and mouth say it’s a piney, grassy mash of stone fruits.
Goes well with: Chilli Con Carne, Slow cooked Lamb shoulder and Lemon Gelato
